It’s the Third Sunday of Lent and we are well into the season. I went all out and went to BOTH my virtual on line at nine church gathering at my usual spiritual home PLUS I attended a local in house venue at eleven. I was invited to what I thought would be remembered as a historically significant Womens History month message. It was good to take a planned detour from my routine and actually leave the house and my desktop computer station.

I had also promissed the pastor preaching that I wanted to be a witness to her inaugural event as she was elevated and recognized as a Church Elder with a global mission.

Today’s sermonic messages complimented one another brilliantly. I left emotionally charged, spiritually fortified and got to sing at home and at church.

I enjoy Sabbath rest even if it doesn’t take place on Sunday. The Body we are issued is a Sacred Temple holding itself as a vessel for Spirit. I sometimes forget that, staying in my head. We also did a deeper dive to experience the mystics journey. Quotes from Howard Thurman reminding each of us today; we had a gift for this world. The world is wanting and waiting. We are good!
