Listen less to NPR … but still find it good and fair but miss the old voices. … I pay for subscriptions so writers and reporters and researchers get paid. Medium and substack serve different functions. Appreciate the share of how a mentor who whispered to you long ago still lingers. Mika and I went to the same college. Trying not to judge. We don’t know the whole story complex and complicated. Young writers still need to eat, pay rent and have health care and time to have a life and family. Co create a new world where local and global work out for us all. I still believe in win win. Most folks don’t have the time and energy to read your piece all the way to the end.
