Celebrating the big seven OH!
Seventh decade
I begin ye well
In anticipation
Awe
Wonder
Expectation
A new me
of identity
Instead of
Making lists of grudges of not what did not occur
Weak nostalgia
masking Traditions passed on
Wow the spectacular
Exponential beauty of what did happen
bought a new blue bra with flowers that fit
Magic moon fully illuminating
First text
First call
First sing
Pie i had 2 not cake
No candles to blow out
We did not sing
but more than one sang a song written just for me
singer songwriter psalms
version of birthday blessing song
had wedding presents
something borrowed, new and old and blue
smoky
hot red clay vessels
brisket love
of presence slow warmth rising
sibling love
who has known you the longest
sharing womb space
original sin is only possible in the empire
if my children
are my best teachers
who taught me to love
stay close
attached and to let go their voices were barely whispers faint
something about
celebrating a birth
one more time solar returns
Favor mercy and Grace
NOTES
Thank you for so many birthday greetings wishing be well
Happy 70th Birthday to me feeling so free
This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
