Everything and the Kitchen Sink!

Be careful what you ask for, you just may get it!

One of the things I decided I wanted to do was to celebrate the little things, the wishes granted, undeserved favor or just the things that tickled my fancy.

I had been wanting a copper sink and a soapstone counter top, I wanted other things as well and I wanted to mark this day that the sink arrived. I had settled for other things as options; but I had the presence of mind to just say this is what I would like and whether I get it or not is totally a different story.

Clearly a first world problem as I toss around with the companion sadness of folks having no sink at all; dare I want or deserve something frivolous, but a sink it is and it arrived hands free no contact delivery.. oh my. He she or they didn’t ring the bell and while warned only a few stops away. The delivery was made unobtrusivedly to the front stoop. The faucet had to be switched out, old sink removed. Measurements had already been taken by the professionals luckily we found out my previous dream sink would not work. The counter tops installed under mount or over mount just make it look pretty and seamless for me. Why it might be as soon as the weekend, when, where I would be washing dishes from a very different perspective.
