I have no desire to not experience

Loneliness

Insecurities

Weakness

Confusion

I want the full range of human emotion

freedom to cast wide a net

and see what I even accidently pull in

Fishing is NOT catching for sure

As a fisher men of men

Literal

When Jesus asks us to not live in this world to be of

This world

Is met more

metaphor than not

That you be willing

Be NOT surprised and

Do not fear

What is of this world

Taking up the Cross

is a certain segment of the journey

Why then if not me

Should you be so special

and therefore exempt

I don’t think that he

my creator meant what I felt as a clear invitation

To in fact be

A commandment
