Organic WHOLE Carrots

Well, this is one of these moments when I am most often moved to poetry, but I may have to handle this one with a rambling essay. I am hoping to do it in 500 words or less but what can I say as I wax and wan. Ahh, I am faced with a dilemna of a large bag of organic whole carrots.

I found a great “deal” at my local favorite grocery store thta threatens to be a food desert. They are a lovely grocer that tries hard to cater to local tastes. They have a few what I call front of the store stations to get you to buy stuff. Sometimes it is carefully labeled as out of date, other times maybe it is close to being unsellable. There was a shopping cart full of ORGANIC WHOLE CARROTS labeled 2 for a dollar.

When we rang things up at the cash register, even the cashier said, this is awesome, I dont even like carrots that much, this is a great price, you can make carrot cake, carrot juice, we looked closely to see if anything was wrong with them even out of date. We couldn’t find anything. so I felt yippee a deal..
