A while back in August of 2o23, I wrote a a poem for and about Fani Willis, she intrigued me and I penned a poem pretty quickly. I shared it with a few friends who already knew who she was, I even posted on MEDIUM and I think not a single person read it.
That being that, her name is on so many lips and whether she goes down or not, for being human, living her life and being freakin fierce; she has crossed her Ts dotted her eyes and I am so proud of her and for her and she like so many are denied the sweet taste of freedom when you do what you think of as the right thing when blazing a trail.
