Thanks Chris for your post and response. I am good too... and grateful for the space you make for dialogue, and controversy. I am listening. I am also learning from these times that most people that voted the way they did thought it would be good for them and some did not give a rat's ass about the potential impact on themselves or others. There was no reading of the fine print. We could probably share horror stories on consequences and repercussions. of our actions including but not limited to voting. While re-reading what I wrote in haste what I wanted to say perhaps more emphatically is that the person you spoke of who voted for the current President did not anticipate the impact on his family.. Had he known, you and I both would agree they might not have voted that way. I am still stunned at the people who chose not to vote at all, I admit to ":silly soft words" when I can muster them cause it selfishly works best for me.. Try as I have, blaming the victim for what I think or assume is their own stupidity has not really worked for me. It leaves me no peace. I am trying something different.
