the only way you know you've got good seeds is by planting something and then watching to whole thing unfold... I also have to write it down and remember or document what went where... This year many "good" seeds came up and had a wonderful start and then failed to reach maturity as in measured by those gorgeous onions. I expect I should have had a "family" community meeting that included the squirrels, light/ sun poison and other factors. and the new grow light I bought this year that seemed to give so many seeds a head start.. so lesson learned here for me is that as much as I want my intellectual cause and effect model to work.. I am learning that most things in life are simply complicated and multifactorial and and magical and they include the things you know about and those you dont... love the photos and have started imaging what to do with all those onions. I really like them and wonder how each one will taste...
